AMERICAN ACADEMY OF HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE MEDICINE
A professional organization for physicians specializing in hospice and palliative medicine. Membership is also open to nurses and other health care providers who are committed to improving the quality of life of patients and families facing life-threatening or serious conditions.

HOSPICE FOUNDATION OF AMERICA
The HFA places a strong emphasis on education and grief support, offering a broad array of end-of-life care resources for professionals, patients, survivors and caregivers on their website.  There are numerous articles as well as many links to register for a large assortment of live programs and webinars.

NATIONAL HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE ASSOCIATION
The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) is the oldest and largest nonprofit membership organization representing hospice and palliative care programs and professionals in the United States. Their website contains a comprehensive amount of information and resources on all the elements of hospice and palliative care, with many helpful links to related organizations and relevant articles.
